2. Principle
This website works without analytics, tracking, advertising or social media services. Fonts, images and videos are served from our own server; no data is transmitted to Google Fonts, video platforms or similar providers when you visit. At most one strictly necessary cookie is set – and only if you choose a language yourself (see section 4).
3. Hosting and server log data
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When a page is requested, the host processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the requested address, the referrer URL, and browser and operating system. This is required to deliver the pages and to keep the service secure and stable. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on Vercel's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).
4. Language cookie
The website is shown in the language your browser sends; nothing is stored for this. If you choose a language yourself using the language switcher, we store that choice in the cookie “ms_lang” (content: only the language code, e.g. “en”; retention: 12 months). Its sole purpose is to show you the chosen language again. Storing it is strictly necessary for this service you explicitly requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG); the legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can delete the cookie in your browser at any time.
5. Demo requests via the form
If you request a demo through the form, we process your details (name, email address and – optionally – agency, number of talents, preferred plan and your message) to answer your request and prepare the demo. The request is delivered to us as an email via the sending service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), which acts on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR); transfers to the USA are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. If sending is technically unavailable, the form opens your own email program instead. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the data once the request has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them as soon as they are no longer needed for that purpose and no retention obligations apply.
7. Features that run only in your browser
The site search and the interactive examples (such as the encryption demo on the security page or the tour on the home page) run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is transmitted to us or third parties, and nothing is stored.
8. Encryption
The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS).
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to it on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21). An informal message to Mail@Patrickschmetzer.com is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
